We offer On-Call Placements (temp work) which includes placement of day and/or evening
Nannies for the times you need a minimum of 4 hours of childcare.  Example: Weekends,
daytime shopping/lunch dates, doctor appts, weddings/receptions, overnights,  date nights,
hotel, really anytime you would need a short term placement that lasts a day to no more
than three weeks.

Long-Term Temporary Placements: anytime you have a childcare need that will last longer
than a few weeks but well under a year.  Please call for Family Application and Fees.

We do place FT Permanent Placements. We take a very thoughtful and precise avenue of
finding the best Nanny for your childcare needs.

We only consider/work with Nannies who:                                                                                                    

  • Are at least 18 years of age
  • Have a minimum of 3 verifiable, previous childcare positions totaling 3 years or more.
  • Either has completed CPR training in the previous 12 months or is willing to become certified within 30 days of
    placement.                                                                                                                              
  • Have genuine care and interest in children
  • Have a clean criminal report
  • Have a clear Child Abuse & Neglect Screening from MO Division of Family Services
  • Own a safe vehicle with verifiable insurance
  • There are NO FEES due from our Nannies, ever.  We want to help them find a fabulous family
  just as much we want you to have a fabulous Nanny!

NannyMall, LLC insists on meeting with all prospective Nannies in person for consultation and interview.

  • Why should I use an Agency?

Using a professional and reputable childcare agency, where guaranteed personal matching and selection are of utmost  
importance, will give you peace of mind when recruiting a Nanny for your family.

  • Why use NannyMall, llc?

NannyMall, llc, was established in response to a need of affordable, quality, in home childcare and is focused on your family's
childcare needs.  We're not too big and not too small!

  • What sets your Agency apart from others?

We know that every client has different requirements and we work closely with our families so that individual needs are
accomplished.  We offer ongoing support for your childcare needs.

  • What areas do you cover?
We cover the counties of St. Louis and St. Charles, though we are known in the Jefferson and Lincoln counties as well.  

  • Do you interview all your candidates face to face?

Absolutely! We believe it is vital to get to know our candidates as well as possible before they are put forward to a potential
employer.  99.9% of our candidates are interviewed by our Owner, the other.01% by our experienced personal assistants.

  • What background checks do you use?

  1. Child Abuse & Neglect History
  2. Criminal background
  3. Sex offenders list
  4. *Limited driving record - more thorough driving record is available for purchase by client
  5. We discuss gaps in employment history
  6. Verify childcare employment/schooling
  7. We ask for a minimum of three childcare references.
(Although we ask for at least 3 references, we advise all our clients to make their own reference checks on their chosen
employee prior to commencement of employment.)

We will place FT Permanent Nannies
w/ minimum one year commitment. We want our hiring Families to fully understand it
may take up to 10 weeks to find the perfect match.

  • What is the procedure for recruiting/hiring a Nanny?

Following the receipt of your completed Family Registration App, the signed Terms & Conditions and the Registration  
payment, we will carefully recruit and match your childcare needs to the information that we have on each candidate.
We will then e-mail up to five (5) hand-selected portfolios to you.
**PLEASE NOTE: it may take up to 10 weeks to find
your perfect Nanny!  The Agency will most likely have to recruit outside of our pool of Nannies!

  • What do the Portfolios include?

    The portfolios include the candidate’s experience, qualifications, interests and previous employers. Just as we strongly
    as we feel about your privacy we feel about theirs, so further information relating to candidates i.e. backgrounds, limited
    driving records, etc. are kept in office until an offer of hire has been made.  You can rest assured all backgrounds have
    come back clean! We will never send a candidate to you that has any marks.

    Following receipt of the portfolios, you may then phone and or email those of interest to discuss your requirements and
    arrange a first interview. We suggest first interviews take place when the child(ren) will be awake for interaction
    purposes.

    Following the interviews we're happy to discuss your feedback on each Nanny. If none of the candidates put forward to
    you were suitable, we will do our best to send another one or two, though with our proven system in place, we're sure
    you will find your Nanny match within the first few!

  • What obligations does the client have as an Employer?

The family is the Employer and as Employer, for the year of 2011 any pay over $1,700.00, you will be required to pay taxes on
your Employee. There are several Household Tax Specialists that can help you, please call the office and we will direct you to
our trusted affiliates.
We strongly encourage you to call references of your potential hire. We encourage you to ask the Nanny to work a day with
pay, before asking her to permanently hire on. We ask that you inform the office anytime a Nanny is scheduled either for an
interview or to work for a day. We also insist no portfolio information is given to any other person outside of your home. See
Terms and Conditions of Business for other information/obligations.

  • Okay we're ready to hire, now what?

When you have made your choice and are ready to hire, contact the office. We will send to you the Family Application, Terms
& Conditions and Placement Invoice. We will also send a generic Family-Nanny Agreement that is completely customizable by
Family & Nanny.  Both parties should have a copy for their files.  If you have questions about what to include, please call the
office, we are happy to help!  There are other helpful forms that will accompany the Agreement, such as a Daily Log,
Emergency Contact, Medical History, etc...
